Catch ya on the flip side MN

I left Wisconsin at seven in the morning and drove all the way through Minnesota to get to Sioux Falls South Dakota. Not that Minnesota wasn’t worthy, but I really wanted to get to some of my more anticipated sites and I will catch Minnesota on my return trip. I was on the road for 6 1/2 hours Before I arrived in Sioux Falls. I kept waiting for a skyline to appear since Sioux Falls is this state’s largest city. However, they’re apparently is none! I drove around to get to a hotel and didn’t see a skyline…yes, I’ll be staying in a hotel tonight! I’m also treating myself to Outback Steakhouse and a 4000 cal meal! Lol. I will thoroughly enjoy a hot shower and shave tomorrow morning. I have already completed a load of laundry and got in a weight lift while waiting for that!

Briefly, almost the entire ride through Minnesota. There were large windmills on both sides of the interstate. It was quite impressive from an energy standpoint, and actually gave the countryside and farmland, a sort of contemporary beauty.

I spoke with someone when I was viewing the falls. I was told they finally got some much-needed rain last night. Apparently there has been a drought and it is evident by the visible rocks along both shorelines of the river.

They built an observation deck in 1999 for people to better observe the falls. Apparently they used to do polished stone and had an electric plant right on the river. The electric plant is now a cafe! Enough rambling… on to the pics and videos!

Goodbye WI! (Cows and horses in there somewhere)

I forgot to mention that they have a nice bike and walking path on both side sides of the river, and they eventually head up into the woods. Overall, it is a beautiful downtown area however nothing will ever match the falls of Niagara!
