Glacier NP is worth every minute despite us not being able to drive through the “Going to the Sun” rd through the park due to snowpack… it was in the 80’s here today!

The ride up the side of McDonald Lake was exceptional and then we hiked up to Avalanche Lake, Falls, and Creek. Most stopped at the base of Avalanche Lake. We continued to hike toward the north side of the lake and falls. We then took off our shoes and froze our tootsies off, but had an unforgettable lunch looking at the falls and peaks in front of us.

We then headed back on the other side of the road around McDonald Lake and up to the Lodge for a beverage. Truly a unique experience before heading back to our “base camp!”

Other side of the park tomorrow!
